We are searching for an Adult Inpatient or Partial Hospitalization Psychiatrist (FLOAT). We are a clinician-led, world-class behavioral healthcare hub offering the full continuum of care, which includes a state-of-the-art psychiatric urgent care center and a soon-to-be-built pediatric behavioral health center, plus outpatient locations and telehealth services throughout Michigan.

All specialties within Psychiatry (Addiction, Forensic, Geriatric, Child & Adolescent, Psychosomatic) are open for consideration.

Schedule

• 40 hours per week
• Shift: Weekdays + 1 mandatory weekend per month
• 1 weekend per month with extra pay
• No mandatory night calls. Option to take night call with extra pay

Compensation

• $200k to $400k
• Potential quality and productivity bonuses

Position Details

• Inpatient
• 9-13 patient visits per day
• Provide coverage for other physicians on leave across multiple units
• Float position requires flexibility and adaptability to work with different patient populations and diverse interdisciplinary teams
• Weekday coverage includes psychiatric admissions, subsequent care visits, and discharges
• Required to work one weekend a month on an inpatient unit - with extra pay

Requirements

• BC or BE (within 5 years of residency completion) - Required
• Active MI license, IMLCC or willing to obtain - Required
• Active DEA License - Required
• BLS - Required
• Locums work history to be included on current CV - Required (if applicable)
